Vreid is a Norwegian metal band celebrated for their dynamic blend of black metal and black 'n' roll. Originating from the ashes of the band Windir in 2004, Vreid infuses their music with both ferocity and melody, paying homage to their roots while forging their own path. The group consists of Sture Dingsøyr (vocals, guitar), Stian Bakketeig (guitar), Jarle Kvåle (bass), and Jørn Holen (drums). Hailing from Sogndal, Norway, they are a key proponent of the Sognametal scene, known for its unique blend of traditional metal elements with the raw edge of black metal.
