Ok for that price

Its like a bit of dumb drum machine with not a lot of controls but sounds so classic. Effects and creativity can help a lot, its good with some distortion to create nice textured drums over fast techno beats. Just for example from this only the kick is from another device but all other sounds came from RD-6: https://soundcloud.com/mzperxofficial/hardware-pleasures-001-live-hard-techno-170bpm

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Distortiooooooon

Amazing

I could make music with perfect 909 samples but its not only the sound that this thing gives you, the workflow is totally different, i make way more interesting drum tracks using this than if i would just program samples on my computer. Oh and dont forget to mention its the ultimate budget GABBA MACHINE, turn it to 200bpm and put some distortion on the kick boom you got a gabba tune in seconds.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

kick output to distortion and leave other sounds clean

I got a really good deal on a floor model but I actually haven't plugged it in yet LOL

bendeguz_rendes

:D You definetly should!

Nice way to get into

Thist tiny stuff helped me to really learn the basics of synths, def recommend it for entering the analog world.

A great addition to your daw

It does not take up a lot of space, sounds great and works great with my daw, love it!

Use it creatively

Maybe its a sh*t option for a serious live band, but for experimenting in a home studio its great! Has some unique character & crazy fx!

Not my favourite cab sim.

I have heared it in live performance, if you use the cab simulator, it will sound terribly shit, but if you bypass the cab simulator, and you use it with a good amp, the pedal simulators are incredibly close to the original pedals!

Got it free

I just won it years ago, it has a lot of crazy fx, i used it for record guitars, the usb output signal is perfectly compressed, one of the best guitar fx to record guitar tracks with

On the edge

it has built in the edge of digital age, but the analog sounds are great and also the digital stuff, not the easyest to programme it but you have good control over it. It only needed to fix after 20+ years, replace a capacitor...

Real pro

The biggest reason of it to call pro, it has a rack case and you can controll with pc, the sound quality also great.

bendeguz_rendes

in depth its good

Maybe not the best for live shows but can be useful in home studio or for practice.

bendeguz_rendes

old one

Its made mid 70's. You may need to replace few parts but is sounds pro. At least you can use the dolby out of it to enhance vocals

Go to

Its a basic sounding pedal but its great.

Not for everybody

Made in USSR, pretty unique, Wah is kinda acting backwards like a normal wah, the fuzz is nice without any low end :D And the tremolo is very strange with speed controll also. Only real disadvantage is, it has swhitches not footswitches built in, and the origilal ones does not have a jack in/out.

bendeguz_rendes

Simply love it !

It does the job perfectly, and you have a lot of controll of the sound, you can get a little dirt but you can go fckn dirt. Love it!

bendeguz_rendes

Almost a delay

Very digital! It eats the battery life quickly and you don't have enough controll over the sound, not the best gear i have i should say :/

bendeguz_rendes

the Fat and the ugly

As i see its almost in every studio, great to use as paralell comp. Great to create pumping sound. And you can get them very cheap!

bendeguz_rendes

love

Compared to the price i think its one of the best you can get, i guess. It sounds so flat, if something sound near great on this it will sound good everyvhere. And it makes easy to hear pretty big mistakes on your tracks.

bendeguz_rendes

Fine

So for that pice, its very good, professional sound, maybe the mic pre insn't the best, if you record vocals i definetly recommend using a limiter in insert to prevent nasty digital distorion.

bendeguz_rendes

Okay

Its kinda okay for that price but i can't compare to a Fatar keyboard or a real piano, but it does the job as a midi controller, the keys feel like typical plastic stuff.
