I've had this board for about a year now, and used it every week in a club setting with a classic rock band. The organ sounds are excellent, probably the best on the market next to the obscenely high priced (and overrated) Nord boards. The keys play well and sounds are easy to find and use. Lots of good meat and potato sounds for gigging live. Cons: MIDI integration is really just awful. This keyboard was designed by Roland's organ department and not their synth department, and it shows. Effects also can't be separated on layered sounds, so for example a rotary speaker effect will affect both sounds in a layer of say, organ and piano. Not cool. But overall, you can make it work as a module if you're only going to use one sound with the other keyboard playing the VR-09 through midi.
