Bjarte Lund Rolland's Gear
His most used guitar, custom built to him by Norwegian manufacturer Nebelung Guitars
Bjarte Lund Rolland is pictured with a Gibson 1960 Les Paul Custom Shop Collection Special Double Cut Reissue in Cherry Red, which he used before switching to his Riffmeister.
Bjarte Lund Rolland used a Gibson 1963 SG Junior Reissue, albeit in a black finish, prior to switching to the Riffmeisters. A user-uploaded photo confirms this usage.
It's literally in the name and the picture for the product is him playing it. Another custom made guitar for him by Nebelung Guitars - he has a red one as well.
In most live pictures of the band, this 4x12 is a main stay for most of the members, including Bjarte.
In the user-uploaded photo, you can see Bjarte Lund Rolland's Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 50W MKII Head in the background. The configuration of the knobs confirms it's the 50W version, which features a sequence of 2 large knobs, 3 small knobs, 1 large knob, followed by 2 small knobs, and 1 large knob. In contrast, the 100W version, which Rolland also uses, has an additional small knob in the sequence and includes mid control along with treble and bass.
In the picture you can see it in the back, to the right. Counting the number of knobs and their config, you see that it is the 100W version. He also uses the 50W version.
The difference between the two is the sequence of the knobs: 100W: 2 Big, 3 Small, 1 Big, 3 Small, 1 Big. 50:W: 2 Big, 3 Small, 1 Big, 2 Small, 1 Big.
The 100W has treble, mid and bass control. The 50W has treble and bass control.
Bjarte Lund Rolland uses a Tokai Rockinbetter guitar. This information is directly confirmed by Bjarte himself, as described by a user whose band recorded an EP at Endless Tinnitus, a studio partially run by Bjarte. During the recording sessions, the band borrowed this particular guitar from him.
