Goofy but Very Good
After trying out a Boss BF-2, I fell in love, but was annoyed by it's awful hissy nightmare that came with it. After looking for a replacement that was both more studio-friendly, and in the general ballpark of that flavor of flanger, I wound up with this. Between owning the BF-2 and this, I bought & returned a BF-3, as it was just not close enough to the real thing for me.
Awkward size, and kind of stupid "takeoff knob" aside, if you are in the market for an almost-oldschool flanger that is very musical, I would recommend checking this one out.

Chorus for Conisuers
It is extremely beautiful, natural, and very analog. It may force you to rethink some of your gain-staging, as it is very sensitive & breaks up at mid-high levels, but the sound is well worth the headache.

More Than Electric Wizard
Highly Desired for a reason, it has 2 very usable, very different fuzz tones, and a clean boost. Most likely you will be tempted to crank the gain, but you may find that lower gain can actually sound heavier. Highly recommended.
Note- The Behringer clone is incredibly comparable, and is a cheap, useful buy if you want to know if you want to commit to the real deal, it sold me.

the real deal is actually the univox superfuzz upon which this is based, but even the behringer is so close that I am content with behringer and let the univox go for an enormous profit
in almost all situations less gain is more heavy

It's true, although the FZ-2 intentionally has a slightly different board from the Univox, and so the Behringer SF is sort of a "clone of a clone", but I personally prefer both the Behringer & Boss (which are almost impossible to distinguish) to the "100% straight-up" Univox clones I've heard, however small the difference. Not trying to sound like a snob, it just might be good to know if someone's trying to pick out a pedal. (If someone can't find a good condition FZ-2 for a fair price, or doesn't want to spend the extra cash, I absolutely recommend getting the Behringer SF)

For Deep Experiments
Good for stacking with distortions if you are brave, and produces a range of very usable synthy & unpredictable tones. It's affordable, handsome, and plays a unique role in distortion alchemy.

Everything You Think it Is
Used by many for a good reason; the gritty, expressive cousin of the Boss DS-1 board, it will surprise you with how many tones it has within it.

So Ideal
Passive-active switch, PJ Pickups, 5 strings, fast neck, active EQ/ Passive tone knob, it's perfect.

Thick & Dark
After trying several of the PRS SE models 3 years ago, I went with this one, and can't recommend it enough. If you swap the pickups on these, you may regret it (as I did) because they are simply perfect, as are many of the features of this model. If you are considering seeking on of these out, do not hesitate, it is a luxurious beast with endless tones.

The Ziggy Guitar
Rare variants of this guitar exist, they all have extremely fast necks; and have been in the hands of artists like Frank Zappa, David Bowie, and Elvis Presley. Built very well & extremely unique in several ways.
