Goofy but Very Good
After trying out a Boss BF-2, I fell in love, but was annoyed by it's awful hissy nightmare that came with it. After looking for a replacement that was both more studio-friendly, and in the general ballpark of that flavor of flanger, I wound up with this. Between owning the BF-2 and this, I bought & returned a BF-3, as it was just not close enough to the real thing for me.
Awkward size, and kind of stupid "takeoff knob" aside, if you are in the market for an almost-oldschool flanger that is very musical, I would recommend checking this one out.
Ibanez Airplane Flanger
"I really dig this flanger. It has a vintage type of flanger sound and it has the right amount of that airy and wave sound. Some other famous flangers creates big wavy flanging sound and I am not comfortable But this is really awesome. It came after the ADA flanger combined with the Ibanez classic Flanger. It came from Paul Gilbert's brain and madness."
