Ampete Engineering is a builder of guitar amp and cabinet switching systems, founded in 2003 in Cologne, Germany. The company started as a small workshop doing repair, modification, and tuning work on guitar and recording equipment, and has provided design and rework services to other manufacturers including Ampeg, Mackie, Manley, Friedman, Wampler, Mesa Boogie, and Marshall. Its operations later relocated to Long Beach, California.

The core of the Ampete lineup is a family of amp/cab switchers aimed at players and studios running multiple heads and cabinets. The 88S Studio routes up to eight amplifier heads into up to eight speaker cabinets, while the 442 and 444 Spyder units handle smaller amp-and-cab matrices with shared effects loops. The 8FX adds synchronized effects-loop switching to the 88S platform, and the 221 is a more compact two-amp/two-cab switcher. Alongside the switchers, Ampete has built tube guitar amplifiers such as the 100-watt Ampete One and the 20-watt Ampete Two.
