Bag End is a professional loudspeaker manufacturer based in Illinois, founded in 1976 by Jim Wischmeyer and Henry Dunlap. The company began in a basement in Palatine before growing into a multi-line manufacturer of sound reinforcement, musical instrument, and studio monitoring systems. Its product range spans the Infrasub subwoofer line, Time-Align PA systems, GEM long-throw loudspeakers, the Neptune and Nebula series, bass and guitar cabinets, and the E-Trap active bass trap.

The brand is best known for two signature technologies. In 1981 it adopted Time-Align, a phase-coherent crossover approach developed from E.M.
