Blakemore Effects is a boutique guitar pedal company founded in 2011 by Blake Hickey, based in Portland, Oregon. Hickey had been building pedals for himself and friends since 2006 before launching the brand professionally. The company is known for its handmade, opamp-based fuzz and distortion circuits, with all pedals built in the USA and powered by standard 9V Boss-style adapters.

The Blakemore Effects lineup includes the Deus Ex Machina, an opamp fuzz with mid boost and clean blend controls that has developed a cult following; the R.O.U.S., a distortion pedal built around the LM308 chip from the original Pro Co Rat circuit with switchable diodes and a texture control; the Bi-Polar Octadrive, a dynamic overdrive with three-band EQ and a footswitchable octave-up effect; the Mustang Overdrive, a straightforward overdrive with three-band EQ; and the Dreamsicle, an IC-based fuzz. Hickey also organized the "Circuits to Cure Cancer" initiative, selling custom pedal editions to raise funds for cancer research.
