Founded by Adrian "AD" Hauser, a longtime film colorist who spent decades grading music videos and feature films before turning his attention back to electronics, the company began releasing pedals under the Colortone name in 2019. Pedals are assembled in small batches with an emphasis on traditional hand-built construction.
