Conde Hermanos is a family of Madrid-based luthiers whose classical and flamenco guitars trace back to 1915, when Domingo Esteso opened his workshop in the Spanish capital. After Esteso's death in 1937, his nephews Faustino, Mariano, and Julio Conde continued the workshop, trading first as Viuda y Sobrinos de Esteso and later as Sobrinos de Domingo Esteso — Conde Hermanos. The next generation, led by Felipe and Mariano Conde Jr., carried the name into the late 20th century before the business split into separate family workshops, each continuing the handmade tradition.

The Conde workshops are best known for flamenco blancas built with Spanish cypress backs and sides and spruce or cedar tops, as well as classical guitars and negra-style concert flamencos with rosewood bodies. A long collaboration with Paco de Lucía produced several of his stage instruments, and over the decades Conde guitars have also been played by Sabicas, Niño Ricardo, Mario Escudero, Tomatito, Paco Cepero, as well as non-flamenco artists including Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Al Di Meola.

Today the name lives on across multiple Madrid shops run by descendants of the original brothers — Conde Hermanos on Calle Atocha 53, Felipe Conde on Calle Arrieta, and Mariano Conde on Calle Amnistía — each building instruments by hand in the Madrid school tradition.
