Dirge Electronics is a boutique effects pedal builder based in the Baltimore, Maryland area, founded by Evan Craig. The operation grew out of his experiments with circuit bending and Atari Punk Console builds in the early 2010s, evolving into a small-batch pedal shop focused on experimental, lo-fi, and noise-oriented circuits. Each pedal is built one at a time, with enclosures that are hand painted and hand engraved.

The company's best-known product is the Slowly Melting, a LoFi fuzz / delay / chorus / doubletracker that pushes a PT2399 delay chip well beyond its intended operating range to produce harsh, unpredictable, and degraded textures. An expanded version, Expression Melt, adds external expression control over the same circuit. Other designs include Even Anguish, a take on the Harmonic Percolator fuzz topology.

The brand's aesthetic leans toward extreme and experimental music — shoegaze, noise, drone, and metal — rather than traditional guitar tones, and its output is aimed at players looking for sonic disintegration rather than polish. Pedals are sold directly through the Dirge Electronics web shop and through select boutique retailers.

Dirge Electronics has 2 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Fuzz Effects Pedals and Delay Effects Pedals. Their gear is featured by 3 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Electronic, and Metal. Notable users include Yvette Young, Scott Shriner, and Lingua Ignota.
