Getzen is a family-owned brass instrument manufacturer based in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The company was founded in 1939 by Anthony James "T.J." Getzen, who had previously trained in instrument repair at C.G. Conn and served as a plant superintendent at the Frank Holton Company. Originally opened as a repair shop, Getzen expanded into manufacturing after World War II, producing its first trombones in 1946 and adding trumpets and cornets the following year.

The company's catalog centers on trumpets, cornets, flugelhorns, trombones, and a baritone horn, spanning both student and professional tiers. Getzen is particularly associated with its Eterna and Custom series professional trumpets, as well as its drum and bugle corps piston bugles, which it began producing in 1949. The Edwards Instrument Company, known for its custom professional trombones, operates as a Getzen subsidiary, and Griego Mouthpieces is an affiliated brand.

Four generations of the Getzen family have been involved with the firm, which returned to family ownership in 1991 after a period under outside control. The Elkhorn factory produces instruments used across concert band, orchestral, jazz, and marching applications.
