Gordon Smith Guitars is an English manufacturer of handmade electric guitars founded in 1974 by Gordon Whitham and John Smith in Partington, Greater Manchester. The brand name combines the founders' first and last names. Recognized as the UK's longest-running electric guitar manufacturer, the company built its reputation during the height of Britain's punk and rock scenes, crafting instruments for working musicians with its motto: "guitars, not furniture." Production is based in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire, under the Auden Musical Instrument Company umbrella.

Gordon Smith manufactures its own pickups in-house, with humbucker pickups featuring coil-tapping as standard across models. The lineup spans a wide range including the GS1 (single pickup) and GS2 (dual pickup) solid-bodies, the GS Deluxe Semi Solid, the carved-top Graduate, the Classic S and Classic T, the Graf Standard and Graf Deluxe, the Gatsby, the Griffin, the Guardian, and the GS Bass. All models feature brass nuts, and extensive customization options are available for bespoke builds. The company has been recognized by Ethical Consumer for its use of sustainable tonewoods.

Despite a policy of declining celebrity endorsements, Gordon Smith guitars have been used by artists across genres, including Billy Bragg, Mick Abrahams of Jethro Tull, members of Buzzcocks, Captain Sensible of The Damned, Ultravox, The Futureheads, and Tears for Fears. Guitarist magazine awarded the GS1000 model a Gold rating, and Guitar & Bass magazine called the Ghostrider semi-hollow "the best-ever GSG guitar."
