HipStrap is an independent maker of vintage-inspired guitar and bass straps, camera straps, vinyl record bags, and small leather and textile goods. The brand was founded in 2014 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, as a hobby project by a musician drawn to embroidery traditions and the visual language of 1960s and 70s counterculture, and later relocated operations to Manzanita, Oregon. Since 2018 the catalog has expanded from straps alone into a wider line of accessories, carryalls, and related leather goods.

The strap line spans jacquard-woven, handwoven, leather, and minimal styles, often built around psychedelic or folk-art embroidery patterns, and is complemented by straplocks and a smaller range of effect pedals and pickups. Camera straps use the same jacquard and leather construction adapted for DSLR, mirrorless, and film bodies. Products are sold directly through the brand's site, through retailers and distributors internationally, and on Reverb and Etsy, with trade-show appearances at NAMM.

HipStrap's work has been picked up by a range of guitarists across rock, blues, and singer-songwriter scenes, including Gary Clark Jr., The Black Crowes, Jack White, Tash Sultana, Jonathan Wilson, Glenn Hughes, Doug Aldrich, Richie Kotzen, Courtney Barnett, Dave Catching, Alain Johannes, and Black Pumas.
