Kruse Kontrol Amplification is a guitar amplifier and amp-modification shop founded by Jens Kruse, a German-born guitarist and amp technician based in Los Angeles. Kruse trained in electronics through his father, an engineer for Siemens and Beckman Instruments, and went on to run U.S. tech support for Diezel Amplification and perform warranty service for ENGL before launching his own brand. The shop also keeps a workshop south of Munich for European clients.

The company designs point-to-point hand-wired tube heads alongside boutique solid-state and rack gear. Its amp lineup includes the Disruption, a 1968 Superlead-derived high-gain head pitched as a tribute to Edward Van Halen's 'brown sound'; the Ultrasonic, a Bruce Bouillet signature model developed in collaboration with the Grammy-winning guitarist; the Revolver, a 30-watt two-channel portable head; and the Quanah, a collaboration with actor and musician Matt Schulze sold exclusively through The Music Zoo. Beyond complete amps, Kruse builds rackmount amp switchers, MOSFET stereo power amps for pedalboards, and rackmount variacs.

The shop is also widely known for its modification work on amps from Marshall, Mesa/Boogie, Diezel, ENGL, EVH, Line 6, and others. Kruse's tech and build work has served players including Bruce Bouillet, George Lynch, Zakk Wylde, Tim Pierce, and Vivian Campbell, along with techs supporting bands such as KISS, Guns N' Roses, Slayer, and Linkin Park.
