Malletech is a keyboard percussion manufacturer based in Neptune, New Jersey, founded in 1982 by concert marimbist Leigh Howard Stevens. The company grew out of Marimba Productions, Inc., an umbrella organization Stevens started to publish his influential pedagogical text Method of Movement for Marimba. Malletech designs and builds marimbas, vibraphones, xylophones, and glockenspiels, alongside an extensive range of mallets for marimba, vibraphone, xylophone, glockenspiel, timpani, and marching percussion.

The brand is closely identified with the development of four-mallet marimba technique and with instruments aimed at serious concert and academic players. Notable products include the five-octave Imperial Grand Marimba, the Omega Vibe and Love Vibe vibraphones, and long-running mallet lines such as the Leigh Howard Stevens signature series, the Concerto series, and the Grand Soloist series. A more affordable MTech line extends the catalog toward students and schools, while the Late Nite Series — developed with vibraphonist Tony Miceli — offers low-volume practice mallets.

Malletech occupies a distinct niche in the percussion world as a manufacturer founded and run by a working concert marimbist, and Stevens holds multiple U.S. patents for musical instrument design. The company was briefly owned by Avedis Zildjian in the late 1990s before Stevens repurchased the instrument and mallet divisions, and it was later acquired by Eastman Music Company.
