Paige Capos is a family-owned manufacturer of guitar capos founded in 1988 by Bryan Paige and his father Ralph Paige. A journeyman tool and die maker who grew up around his father's bluegrass band, Bryan set out to design a capo that held tuning accurately, was easy to use, and kept a slim, low-profile silhouette — three qualities he felt were missing from existing options. The pair began producing the capos out of their tool and die shop in Litchfield, Michigan, before the brand grew into its own company. Operations later relocated to Erwin, Tennessee.
The product line is centered on patented designs that emphasize even, adjustable string tension across the fretboard. Core offerings include the Original Series, the Spring Series, the patented Clik ETI Series, and the premium PaigePro line, with models built for 6-string acoustic, electric, 12-string, classical guitar, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele. Capos are manufactured in the USA and the brand markets itself heavily on its bluegrass and acoustic-music roots, with distribution through retailers and direct-to-consumer sales.
