Vince Gill's Gear
"Okay. This is a '53 Fender Telecaster and I bought it in 1979 or 1980 maybe."
Vince Gill is known for using the Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb amplifier, as seen in his performance at the 2010 Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival. He also regularly uses this amp during his Monday night shows with the Time Jumpers at 3rd and Lindsley, as documented in various YouTube videos.
I always use different amps. I have a wide selection of old amps, including a lot of old Fender tweed stuff. I have a ’59 Bassman; they have such a one-of-a-kind sound. I’d never played through one before, and I knew Eric would play through something like that. He would play in middle position on his Strat, and I would always say, “How does it sound like that?” I put my Strat in middle position and crank it up and it’s just a little bit clanky. A friend of mine, Danny Nader, who lives in Cincinnati, just gave me this Bassman. He said, “I never use it. Please take it and use it.” I plugged in and I said, “Oh, there it is.” It went ahead and crunched in all the right frequency places that were missing, and it’s an amazing sounding amp.

I spotted the 1959 Gibson ES-175 in this guitar collection video of Vince Gill's.
This is the black strat you can see on the Crossroads 2004 DVD. He has the tortoise pickguard, 2TEK bridge, and EMG VG-20 pickups.
In the YouTube video "A Tour of Vince Gill's Vintage Guitar Collection" by Musician's Friend, Vince Gill discusses his Gibson ES-335, noting, "This is like the first red one that I got. But this one is a little bit better so it gets played a little more," highlighting his preference and frequent use of this semi-hollowbody electric guitar.
Vince Gill uses a Gibson 1960 ES-335, identifiable by its stop tailpiece and dot neck, as featured in Premier Guitar's "GALLERY: Vince Gill’s Touring Gear."
Vince Gill uses this tuner for both acoustic and electric guitar on stage (originally sources from "Vince Gill’s Touring Gear", an article from premierguitar.com).
You can see in this video Vince has two Rivera R100 amps. He used them regularly for a long time.
"These were kinda very rare with the sunburst finish and the binding. I like that look as well as the sound of rosewood fingerboard on a Telecaster."
"This Duesenberg Double Cat 12 is sometimes used on 'Never Alone'."
Vince Gill can be seen playing a J-200 in several live performances.
In the Premier Guitar Rig Rundown video, Vince Gill discusses his 60s Fender Thinline Telecaster, noting that it was once in poor condition but has been restored to working order. He expresses his preference for its sound over that of an old Blackguard Telecaster.
Vince Gill uses a Martin OOOO-18, a stripped-down version of the OOOO-28, as highlighted in the "Vince Gill’s Touring Gear" article on premierguitar.com.
From a 2011 article "Vince Gill’s Touring Gear," a photo of his Gibson Les Paul Deluxe is shown, with the caption:
"Mid-2000s Gibson Les Paul Deluxe with a chambered body. Gill usually keeps this guitar tuned down a half step."

"This is a gift from Amy. I love that my wife has good taste. This is a OM45 from 1930. It was for my 50th birthday. I saw the case and I knew it was something good."
"This is a great piece. It's 1960 Stratocaster. It's an amazing sounding guitar. This has been on a lotta records."
This guitar can be seen in the guitar collection video. It's placed there beside the 1960 Stratocaster which is also on Vince's Equipboard gear list.
Vince Gill uses a Martin OOOO-28 guitar, equipped with a T-Dar pickup, as noted in an article about his touring gear on premierguitar.com.
Vince uses these mostly as studio amps (originally sources from "Vince Gill’s Touring Gear", an article from premierguitar.com).
Vince Gill uses this stock DD-3 Digital Delay for live work (originally sources from "Vince Gill’s Touring Gear", an article from premierguitar.com).
This article by Premier Guitar reveals that Vince Gill uses a Hermida Audio Technology Zendrive Pedal Boost.
If you look at his (Vince's) board on the Premier Guitar gallery page in the link you can see the knob differences. He doesn't use a stock TR-2 it is in fact a Keeley Mod TR-2
Vince is constantly switching pedals on and off his board but you can see in this pic he is running the Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. He was using the Sparkle Drive when I saw him in 2012 as well.
You can see the Keeley Mod Boss DD-3 in the photo with the blue sticker and three way switch. Vince has been known to use a lot of Keeley Mod pedals.
It is a little hard to see but you can clearly make out the EHX Memory Man TT1100 on his board. He switched things up for his 2015 tour.
You can see that Vince has added this pedal to his main board for the 2015 tour. It is sitting to the left of the EHX Memory Man Deluxe.
You see on Vince's pedalboard he has the Strymon Deco here. I spoke to him for a bitpost soundcheck and he uses it for a bit of slap back effect.
If you watch the video here, 10 seconds in you can see him using this guitar on "Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away". He has been using this guitar for this song exclusively on the 2015 tour.
