PJD Guitars is a British electric guitar maker founded in 2010 by luthier Leigh Dovey and based in York, England. The brand name is a tribute to Dovey's late father, who worked as a prop maker at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden. After building guitars in a home workshop while working as a sound engineer, Dovey expanded the operation into a dedicated workshop where instruments are built by hand.
