Porter & Davies is a UK-based manufacturer of tactile drum monitoring systems, founded in 2009 by sound engineer Tim Porter and drummer Dil Davies. The concept emerged when Davies, then touring with Oysterband, struggled to hear and feel the bass drum onstage. Porter built a prototype that transmitted low-frequency information through the drum throne via bone conduction, allowing drummers to physically feel their kick drum, bass, or other signals through the pelvis and spine without adding stage volume. With early support from Dr. Feelgood drummer Kevin Morris, the pair turned the prototype into a brand and brought it to market.

The company's flagship product is the BC2, an amplified tactile generator monitor system consisting of a transducer-loaded throne top paired with a flight-cased head unit containing the amplifier, preamp, and level control. The product line has expanded to include the BC2rm (a rackmount variant), the more compact BC Gigster, the BC-X, the TT6 Equipped Thrones, and KT Platforms designed for percussionists or drummers who prefer to stand.
