Sammy Sanchez Custom Guitars is the one-man shop of Los Angeles-based luthier and guitar technician Sammy Sanchez. Sanchez apprenticed at Nadine's, a Hollywood guitar store that served as a hub for touring and session musicians in the 1980s, and later launched his own line of custom-built fretted instruments under his name.

The shop is best known for its Super Strat-style electric guitars — S-style bodies with Gibson-scale necks, Floyd Rose tremolos, locking nuts, and Seymour Duncan pickups, often finished with the Sanchez logo in eighties-style script on a matching headstock. Sanchez also builds custom lap steels, including six-string models fitted with Fender Wide Range pickups. He built two Super Strats for Slash of Guns N' Roses in the early 1990s, one of which Slash played for the talkbox parts of 'Dust N' Bones' during the Use Your Illusion tour.

Output is small and made to order, and signed Sanchez instruments surface only occasionally on the secondary market. Alongside the building work, Sanchez has spent much of his career as a touring guitar tech for artists across rock, blues, and pop.
