Sanyo Electric is a Japanese consumer electronics company founded in 1947 in Osaka, Japan. While its catalog spans televisions, refrigerators, solar panels, and rechargeable batteries, Sanyo entered the music gear space most notably through products built around its eneloop Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery technology. The brand was later absorbed into Panasonic, with the eneloop line continuing under the Panasonic name.

Among musicians, Sanyo is best known for the eneloop Pedal Juice (model KBC-9V3U), a rechargeable 9V power supply designed to sit on a pedalboard and replace wall-wart adapters and disposable batteries. Sanyo's musician-targeted hardware line was narrow compared to dedicated pro-audio manufacturers, but Pedal Juice earned a niche reputation as a clean, portable power solution before production wound down.
