Sky Pedals was a small American boutique effects builder founded by Jim Coleman, best known for hand-building the Cloud 9 Reverb. The Cloud 9 was effectively the company's sole product — a dual-stage reverb in a big-box enclosure with a four-knob, two-switch layout and a distinctive shift footswitch that toggled between two independent mix and tone settings, giving players two voicings in a single pedal.

Produced in small batches and offered in a rotating set of finishes such as black, cream, bronze, gold, surf green, and sparkle white, the Cloud 9 developed a reputation for lush, ambient reverb tones and became a sought-after pedal on the secondary market. Coleman eventually wound the operation down, and the Cloud 9's design was passed to JHS Pedals, who used it as the foundation for the JHS Alpine Reverb.
