Snatchtronics is a boutique effects pedal builder run by Carissa Spatcher out of the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. Spatcher came to pedal making from a fine arts and musical background, starting out by repairing tube amps and other guitar electronics before cloning circuits and eventually designing her own. She handles the company as founder, proprietor, and chief engineer, hand-wiring each pedal herself.

The brand is best known for the Ovadrive, a touch-sensitive analog overdrive built around point-to-point wiring and designed to react dynamically with tube amplifiers. A companion bass version, the Bluballer, applies the same overdrive circuit to low-end instruments. Beyond pedals, Spatcher has also built small tube amps for musician friends out of the same Brooklyn workshop.

Snatchtronics has a small but notable footprint in the indie scene, with reported users including members of Passion Pit and Austin Brown of Parquet Courts. The operation remains a one-person shop focused on small-batch, hand-built analog effects rather than mass production.

Snatchtronics has 2 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Bass Effects Pedals and Overdrive Effects Pedals. Their gear is featured by 1 artist, with the strongest followings in Rock. Notable users include Luke Reynolds.
