Walden Guitars is an acoustic guitar brand founded in 1996 through a collaboration between luthier Jonathan Lee, master luthier Charles Fox of CFox Guitars, and Taiwan-based KHS Musical Instruments. Named in reference to Henry David Thoreau's Walden, the company set out to pair American high-end design philosophy with Asian manufacturing to produce instruments balancing musicality and affordability. In 2019, Lee and longtime team member Jaco Liao acquired full rights to the brand.
