Way better than it's given credit for - if you can't do something creative with this, you need to look within, not for better software.

Unmistakable character with versatility!
So many great sounds, and so many great ways to use them! Even the digital tracking provides a pleasing crackle, used to great effect in Radiohead's "My Iron Lung." And you don't have to be Tom Morello to put those whistling octaves to good use; I like to use them like bells, chiming in for some new wave flavor. My favorite though is just a slight and subtle detune, cloaking your tone in satiny chorus.

I agree, my favorite feature is the detune. very underrated feature. it gives you a very "raw" sound. great for grunge, stoner doom, and post-metal tones.

A little flash on your sash
Just cool looking, and sort of a statement of alignment with rock 'n' roll - I wear mine as a tribute to David Bowie.

Classic effect that even retains a great sound when you get into a little knob-turning with it - a must-have.

Love it!
I know the field of fantastic DAWs keeps growing, and there's much that I still have to learn about other programs. However, Logic is user-friendly and the results are incredible. The virtual instruments are renowned for their playability and sound, and with Logic Pro X, Apple has taken it even further, packing in features designed to maximize the musicality of your work. And for only $200? That's a steal. Highly recommended.

Amazing!
So ubiquitous yet ever-inspiring, the 106 is capable of both the quirky and the sublime. Its hands-on controls allow for infinite creative possibilities, and the range of tones, from fat and creamy to hollow and glassy, lends itself to a wide range of music.
