Good for it's cost
It's a cheap chorus pedal; it gives a great sound, but it's lacking in the level of control you might desire. You'll definitely notice that this pedal's on; whether you've set it for some smooth modulation over a lead line, or a seasick warbling nightmare, this is not a pedal that does subtle, but that's not to say it doesn't have some tasteful sweetspots in there.

Some quality tones
There's a lot of interesting sounds to get out of the Electric Mistress, though the name may be somewhat misleading; the addition of a chorus pedal sets it apart from the vintage tone everyone seeks, and lacks the detailed controllability of other models. While it's simple design makes it easier to get a great tone out of, this isn't a pedal designed to do subtle; think Andy Summers/Police style tones.
Great for adding some extra flair to a rhythm section, but those looking for Gilmour-ish flanged lead tones would do better to turn to Mooer's ElecLady

my friend bought one of these back when it came out, I was really underwhelmed.... Mike Matthews rarely releases an effect that's not mind-blowing (even the ones that aren't useful are usually cool), but this was just a boring effect

Simple, effective
Short on features, but a very basic, easy-to-use looper that has everything you'd need or expect from a looper at the lower end of the price ranges. Great way to get into looping

Fantastic at what it does
Not a single tone in my arsenal hasn't been improved by spicing it up with the Soul Food - has to be seen to be believed!

Fantastic delay
Affordable, easy to set up, and great tones in almost any position on the controls, this is the best value for money I've ever seen; would benefit from a tap tempo, but I'm not holding that against it.

Everything you could have ever asked for
Classic big muff sound, made even more accessible with the addition of an active EQ to tweak it to any setup imaginable; best buy I've ever made!

this not a criticism, but you sprung for a thorpy pedal but use a super cheap, chinese delay?

I actually play usually through a Champion 110 usually, I just couldn't find that amp on here; I'm in the process of acquiring more upmarket gear, I bought some cheaper stuff just to get the ball rolling, although honestly that delay is pretty fantastic sounding, even if it lacks a lot of the control I'd like to have. But as I say, in the process of getting more upmarket gear, but when you're paying that amount of money it doesn't hurt to be a little patient! :) (P.S, a friend who was moving to England was selling the Frontman for about half the price I paid for the delay pedal, I figured it was worth at least that much!)

Brilliant tone, lacking a little in sustain
The tone that comes out of this pedal is everything I could have asked for, particularly with the crunch mode equipped; smooth, with more than enough gain for a powerful rhythm section. My only suggestion would be to boost it with a compressor or clean gain for lead tones, no matter how hard I try the sustain doesn't quite go as far as I'd like. Easily fixed though; a fine pedal all round.
