My Flagship!
I was very skeptical at first to buy this keyboard after reading all of the reviews online. So many people were concerned with the "noise" of the keys and the internal buzzing sound, but when it came to my doorstep I knew I had made the right choice.
Here's Why: The keys are so incredibly weighted! For all classically trained pianist out there - this keyboard offers the most realistic touch/velocity sensitivity you can get for the price. Once I had my piano's all connected, the "sound" of the keys were not even recognizable.. The fleaux that this piano creates for the user is quite enjoyable.
Not to mention the faders, knobs and drum pads make creating a beat from scratch like clockwork. My favorite part of this Hybrid piano is that I can assign anything I want to it! So during my live sets, I have %100 control over the vibe of what is being played.
Akai did a great job creating a piano that has workflow - Not to mention the beautiful design and durability.
I am excited to see what sound I create with this beast - and to all who are worried about the flaws of it - I'll say it once again, the keys really do not make much noise at all. And the Perc's easily outweigh the "Flaws" of anything that may be there. So try it for yourself and tell me you don't fall in love with this beautifully crafted 88 key controller.

So Loud!
As an artist - to get the best results, you have to be tedious about playing back your sound on ANYTHING you can get your hands on. Many people play most of their music through speakers! So here is one that gives you an idea of what your mix will potentially sound like - giving your more feedback and counsel. :)

Great Cans!
I believe it is always important to have more than just one pair of headphones. For multiple reasons - but especially for playback. It may sound different on different items of playback. (Speakers/Monitors/Headphones/Computers) These are very tight and less focus on the low end of the frequency spectrum. So to give my mixes the "High Frequency" test - I always love to throw these on and have a nice run through and see if I can't pick up any changes I could make to improve the mix.

Great for live!
These are NOT the best headphones for mixing - but when it comes to having a solid pair of cans that boost the base on all play backs - its fun to let your friends hear your mixes with these bad boys. Fun also because they fit so well on your head and wont slide off if you get a little crazy here and there.

Such a clean quality result!
I have been using ozone for a short time - but the results are very tangible. Your mix sounds really really good after dialing in some sounds with ozone. The nectar vocal suite is great for burst of creativity and new ideas on hooks and verse. Alloy keeps the ball rolling within your mix and allows you to focus on the main theme without losing the professional touch. I am happy!

Grunge.
Great 4 - Band Filter that lets you distort the crap out of everything. Fun for my grunge projects.

Works for me!
As an EDM artist working with creativity is vital for my flow. I love this synth because not only can you modify the sound - but because of the high quality presets already packed in, the "ease" of creating something new becomes so fresh and fun. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for some Hot top leads - such a great pack different and versatile sounds to be expanded and used!

Bass Cannons
Crank up the tunes - cause these Akai RPM 500 Monitors provide flat sounds that paste a smile on each producers face! Only been using them for a couple months but I am definitely satisfied so far!

So happy I made the switch from PC -> Mac
Starting out as a young producer I had always been a PC guy - once I made the switch to a Mac Book Pro, my workflow had changed tremendously. Especially being an Ableton user - my PC just couldn't handle all the Plug Ins and Software I was running. I would happily advise any young aspiring Producer and Artist out there to invest in a Mac as your Foundational basis.
Cheers!
