Posted in Guitarists & Bassists / Anyone into Godin guitars? I am!
I bought a Godin electric guitar back in 1995 at some local music shop. I love the neck and fret height. Smooth!
Posted in Guitarists & Bassists / How Music Projects Teach Me About Plumbing Estimating
My OCD is in full tilt mode when it comes to cable routing. I label ALL of my cables on both ends and the middle. They are spaced equally apart and the length is custom so there is no excess. I used to do hardwire install on networks.

GEN-X in the hizzy!!! Most amps (Gorilla, Peavy, Fender) have volume knobs that go up to 10....psssht, just grab a pair of pliers and crank that knob further. It'll go to 11...11 1/2. Happy playing!
Posted in Guitarists & Bassists / what's the cheapest piece of gear in your rig that genuinely surprised you?
Gotta say...the cheapest and surprisingly BEST change I made to my gear....assortment of picks. Ive always just used whatever pick I could find (under furniture, in the couch, washing machine etc...) and rolled with it. When I was about to hang up the possibility of ever hitting harmonics, I was given a heavier gague pick than what I was used to using. YES!!! Picks....they work!
Posted in Guitarists & Bassists / Looking for this TONE/SOUND
Hello Pkennethk,
Thank you for your response. I was excited when I saw someone replied to my plea for help...but then I got bummed about the AI part (I am old school..55yo) but I am not all that surprised.
Given my current home set up, I am confident that with some help I can get "something" close to what I am wanting. Since this current musical venture of mine (using pedals to create custom tones) is purely peronal, I'll take what I can get, when I can get it (no more gig's for these old bones)!
I received some advice on another platform about seperating the tone layers first (OD/Dist, Rev, etc) then assigning each layer to a seperate channel to blend them later in editing. Lately I'm not a huge fan of the "editing magic", but I am not adverse to it either. I would rather get it live, if possible.

Hello Equipboard! I'm looking for the guitar tone/model/sound used in the youtube video link.
It is a blues version of "Simple Man" by Blues Rock Thunder
Can ANYONE help me with putting together this tone/sound.
