Best modelling for the money

This unit is incredibly flexible and has models (very accurate ones at that) from almost any amp you can imagine.

Truly a swiss army knife for guitar and the next best thing to a Fractal or Helix.

Tube heaven

Great preamp. Makes anything you plug into sound amazing. 5 stars.

My favorite Boogie

Great 2 channel Boogie from their classic years. Great cleans, and heavy overdrive. It'll go from Steve Lukather to Master of Puppets without breaking a sweat.

A hidden gem (jem?) ;-)

Made for two years, in 1992 and 1993. The 1992 models are superior. Made in the Fujigen factory. Alder body, locking tuners, relaxed neck radius. Was intended to be a "retro" RG. Feels like the ultimate super strat. Ultra playable. The pickups are somewhat lackluster, but I've gutted mine and replaced all the electronics and the guitar easily handles anything you throw at it.

Lexicon verb in a pedal

Sounds line a PCM-70 in a box. Has the Lexicon algorithms and is built like a tank.

Mine won't run on batteries anymore, but I use a power supply so I don't mind too much. That's the only knock on this pedal.

Not just a 335 clone, but a great guitar with it's own sound

Mine is a 1990, made at the Hoshino factory. Great and versatile guitar. Neck pickup has a switch that changes the pickup to series/parallel/single coil. I play mine with flat wound strings and the guitar really feels like an extension of my body. I've thought about selling it for a custom shop 335, but I've never found a 335 that's better than my AS200.

"The Sound"

The Yamaha G100 series II amps are built like tanks, and last even longer. 100 watts, solid state. The clean sound is unbeatable IMO for jazz styles. If you open it up you'll see the board is full of JRC4558 op amps, which is why the thing sounds so warm.
