I run this pedal in front of a distortion pedal I use for all my gain. It does it's job of juicing my distortion for a tighter sound. (Using the Amp as an EQ, distortion for my gain.) Watch Fluff's video on youtube for some sounds. He compares it to a Maxon OD808 and it fairs well considering the $30 dollar price tag. I'd buy it again.

Bc Rich
I got mine from a friend a few years back. It's jacked up but I like it. Mine has the green and grey tribal on it. I wouldn't buy another one but I enjoy mine. If BC Rich got their act together I'd consider buying something from their new Mark series.
Pros - Warlock shape, Widow headstock, decent pickups, 24 frets.
Cons- Pitched back neck - rendering some areas unplayable, heavy weight, balances weird.

My first guitar
I've had this guitar for 2 years now. It's slowly but surly became my least favorite guitar out of my arsenal. Here's some advice. Buy something else. Mine came with the pickups barely working. Sometimes the pickups would work. Sometimes they wouldn't. The tuners crapped out pretty soon after that.
Pros- Les paul shape, nice neck profile,.
Cons- Pickups, cheap parts.

Jagmaster
I wanted a guitar for cleans. I found this in a pawn shop. I enjoy the 24 inch scale length and the duncan designed pickups. It's a heavier guitar, but its shape and contour makes it very playable.
Pros- Simple controls, looks, and neck profile.
Cons- 21 frets (mine has 21.), cheap tuners, and it's pretty heavy.

Great guitar
I really love my Dean Tyrant. It has the simplistic charm yet the killer graphic on it. My pros are, the awesome body shape and graphic, the awesome neck profile, jumbo frets, and it's lightweight body that still balances well.
My cons, the neck heel does not work well with high fret use, it's stock dean pickups aren't great, and the tuners are just average.
I'd buy it again.
