CLP-79 does not impress at first for not being a "perfect Gibson Les Paul copy", but when you play in this beauty, you find that it's purpose is not to be a perfect Gibson copy, but to be a very unique guitar which looks like a Gibson Les Paul. Has a maple neck bolted on a solid basswood body with a plain maple top. Sounds awesome with great harmonics and excellent captation.
Great Stratocaster with a personalized neck joint. H-S-S configuration makes it for a great sound. Solid basswood body and perfectly made thin maple neck. Only issue I found is that the humbucker sounds louder than the single coils. But screams like crazy. Great for a lead guitar.
