Critic Reviews

CLP-79 Review: And for "platform" I am referring to its construction and quality... | Strinberg | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Strinberg CLP-79 emerges as a surprising contender in the budget guitar arena. Praised for its solid construction and commendable sound, it holds its own against more expensive models, particularly with post-purchase upgrades. While the stock tuners and electronics leave much to be desired, the guitar's core, including a well-crafted neck and body, offers an excellent platform for customization. Though it may require some initial investment in upgrades, the CLP-79 still undercuts competitors like the Epiphone Standard in price. For those seeking a Les Paul-style guitar without breaking the bank, this model offers substantial value, provided you're willing to tweak it to unleash its full potential.

Excellent guitar, low price.

CLP-79 does not impress at first for not being a "perfect Gibson Les Paul copy", but when you play in this beauty, you find that it's purpose is not to be a perfect Gibson copy, but to be a very unique guitar which looks like a Gibson Les Paul. Has a maple neck bolted on a solid basswood body with a plain maple top. Sounds awesome with great harmonics and excellent captation.

Modificada!

Com par de humbuckers retirados de uma Epiphone Les Paul Custom, e circuito refeito por mim. Ficou um Frankstein!
