A different take on the locking trem. The trem doesn't 'float', but the mechanism allows for 'pull back' via a dual pivot point design. Extremely playable guitar and palm muting, broken strings, and even drop tuning via the fine tuners doesn't affect the other strings.
I've had a variety of Marshall combos and stacks. This one paired with the 1960A cab suits me for clean and dirty tones. I don't need extreme distortion and this head is simple to use and sounds great.
The tones suit my style and the playability is second to none. I have about 30 guitars and this is a first choice for electric gigs.
I use my Variax 600 to record, and also live. Great tones, and programmable tuning is handy live.
