Wavetable goodness.
Firstly, the sound is fantastic. Programming is OK, but hindered slightly by the SHIFT functions, it may just be me, but I still get a bit lost when I need to use these functions. Besides that it is a great unit.

Fantastic
The sound from this is amazing, the format is a bit iffy, but forget that, the sound is what's important!

It's bright silver!
I've had this pedal for about 3 years now, and it still does everything it's supposed to do. I especially like the tuner output which I often use to split my signal, so one goes straight to recording and the other goes through other effects. It's cheap too!

Crap synth...
...amazing sound module! I use this for 'normal' instrumentation, such as strings, pianos and percussion. It does have some great synth sounds, but there's not a lot you can do with them as programming is rather limited. It does sound absolutely fantastic, and you get access to a lot of sounds, especially with the expansion cards. I have 3 cards and have over a thousand presets to play with.

Not for everyone...
...but definitely for me!!! It's a weird beast, and you can't use it on everything...I do want to though! I find it to be more of an instrument or a tool than an effect...if that means anything...anywhere...this pedal doesn't do William Burroughs but it kind of sounds like it does...if that means anything...anywhere...footfalls on a wet sidewalk, but the exclamation is all wrong. Pete zipped up.

WOW.
This is my first piece of analogue machinery, due to acute poverty, I've been digitally synthing for 30 years, and WOW. It's sooo easy to do everything! AND IT SOUNDS FANTASTIC!!!!

Warm and subtle.
A truly great compressor for the price, has a great 'well made' feel to it. I can't fault it!

DI your guitar for cheap!
I've used this for 20+ years to DI my guitar, it works fantastically with clean sounds, but it does sometimes struggle when using distortion type effects, but a few tweaks usually sorts things out.

Good but...
Great sounding unit with good functions, such as XLR and SPDIF connectivity [I haven't had call to use the USB side of things]. Unfortunately the build quality seems a bit dodgy to me as mine has developed a fault on the Input knob...

Can't go wrong for the price!
I'd give this 5 stars, as it is a great tuner, but it really does need a back light. I particularly bought this tuner as you can adjust the Hz and thereby tune the tuner!

No frills!
If Happy Shopper did a midi controller keyboard this would be it. Nothing special, no features, just a keyboard. It feels fine and does the job.

Beyond brilliant!
Not only is this an incredibly fantastic sounding amp for guitars, it also works fantastically as an amp for just about anything, it can give my synths a little extra oomph too. I have used it as a recording interface via USB, which is great, but I prefer to use the headphone output as I hate messing with my ASIO drivers. I am a fan!

If I kill you for your money...
...would you believe me that these boxes work well for jamming in da studio...then you have to switch 'em off n go elsewhere.

Beautiful.
Fantastic guitar in every way. The only fault I can find is that I can't 'Chicken Pick'! I have the rosewood neck version.

There's only one thing...
...that I can say about this monster: It is, in my opinion, the best digital synth ever.

Cheap and somewhat cheerful.
I've got two of these, bought second hand for less than £50. I have to say that I really don't like the sound of the reverbs on this. Saying that all the other effects are great! I mostly use the delays, but also use the chorus and flanger, my only fault with them is that they are too clean, but that's what you get from digital!

I never liked the verbs on any of the various Midiverbs and quadraverbs I had either... the other effects had their moments... the earlier alesis units like the quadraverbs and the low number midiverbs have a bit more character being grainier and bittier, though not like an SPX90 or anything... I think there's a reason these units trade forso little and hhave not become part of the retro digital processor boom. They didn't descend to the cheap seats, they always were the cheap seats.

Not that I'm a fisherman but your bait got me hooked. Cheapseats is the best description of this kind of 90's....er....cheapseats!

Wish I'd bought a Zoom
Not a good machine from Tascam. The sound quality is fairly good using the in-built mics...which is the best thing I can say about it. My first problem was with the archaic menu system - someone decided to use as many buttons as possible to navigate and make setting changes. The next issue was finding that the body of the unit is very microphonic which means that the unit cannot be held in the hand whilst recording! Arrgh! Unfortunately, I had had this unit for several months before trying to plug in external mics or line level signals as the inputs are not working at all.

Useful little addition.
OK this is a cheap shortwave radio, it does nothing special but it is a great source for weird samples. It has a headphone output.

Great hardware...
This is a solid piece of equipment. I have been using this for 8 months now without a single problem. The only downside is the software, it is too simple, it really needs some routing options as it has none! I also have a Behringer ADA8200 hooked up to it with no issues...after I bought decent BNC cables!

My baby.
I have a 1992, three colour sunburst [similar to the dude from Radiohead], rosewood neck, with added Skullknob. I've owned this from new, so it's a little bit tired around the edges, it has been played almost daily and it has only had one fret dress about 5 years ago which included a set-up for intonation etc. It had been rock solid for more than 20 years. And it is still!
