right? look, I own a rosewood and a maple tele and they are more differentiated by their other features than the fretboard which is a feel it thing! contrary to popular belief my rosewood tele is BRIGHTER in tone than the maple board one, even unplugged due to it having 60s style steel saddles versus 50s brass and a few other features that are way more important to shaping a guitar's sound than fingerboard wood
