I'm very happy with the sounds on this, and it is a huge step up from my Korg Pandora Mini. It is no more or no less user-friendly than other multieffect units of its site and price range. However, it does not have an AUX in, which is essential to my silent practice, so I will be replacing it in my rig in the future.
This is sitting at the end of my ampless headphone practice board rig right now. You can get a great clean tone on the tweed/clean setting, but the other 8 amp combinations are overdriven in the full gain range. One caveat: I had to turn the bass all the way down and the treble all the way up to get decent EQ from my stock Epi LP humbuckers.
If you're looking for a compact all-in-one unit for practice and would rather go analog than digital, this is what you need.
