CLASS A DISCREET DUAL RANGE BOOST

The Dual Range Boost was designed by Gary Phillips of Overtone Works in collaboration with Jonathan Nuñez to increase detail, depth, and clean signal level via a pure audio path. Once those goals were achieved the design was taken further to provide a harmonically rich sounding low noise circuit that would serve as a clean boost, with switchable frequency options ranging from thick to tight while expanding the tone of any instrument/source on either setting.

This unique Class A Discreet bi-FET design produces up to +30dB of gain while bringing out the natural tone of any instrument or source. It's effect on various applications has been described as an inflator, tone expander, instantly providing a much richer and fuller sound, embellishing the tone of instruments going through it, opening up amps sonic capabilities, and as a straight up ripper!

The "Full" position on the Dual Range Boost provides a flat 20hz to 20K boost increasing your signal, adding a clear and detailed depth, providing vibrant sustain, and producing thick tone while remaining true to the source's natural sound.

The "HPF" position on the Dual Range Boost provides all the benefits of the "Full" mode while introducing a musical low frequency roll off. The musical yet effective roll off begins at 400hz (6 db per octave) giving the source additional punch and clarity, which is a great setting for solos, leads, or any passages you'd like to bring forward in the mix. This can be a great tool for further dialing in your sound!

Engaging the "Full" or "HPF" setting on the Dual Range Boost will expand the richness and fullness of your sound while opening up the tone of any amp, instrument, and playing style at the flip of a switch. These two effective settings can assist any player looking to introduce dynamics as well as a high grade tone sculpting tool while conserving pedal board space.

A Transparent modified delay based off of the PT2399 IC chip. The Echopark EPD-1 is a Digitally generated delay, with a True Bypass, Analog signal path. Modeled after the vintage Echoplex Tape Delay, translated into MS (Milliseconds/.001 of a second).

Looking down at the EPD-1. The right side pointer knob (MS) controls the Echo Delay, and is labeled with minimum (30MS), and Maximum (600MS). The graduation bar on the bottom is a key that shows you the graduation percentage of THD (total harmonic distortion) which becomes noticeable beyond 350MS, or beyond 1% THD, and graduates up to 3.5 % at 600MS. This is helpful in studio recording situations. The REP Knob on the left controls the Repeats Generation on the delay. MIX controls clean/delay saturation. 2.1mm 9VDC power in, NEG Center (9V internal Battery Option). Fully Powder coated aluminum enclosure. HAND MADE IN USA.

Born from the same circuit design of our Original Soap Box, an overdrive booster has been added, along with a potentiometer to control the overdrive, from ultra clean, to super overdrive. The minimal use of electronic components is key to the raw unobstructed flow of tone. Completely handmade in the USA. We carve out our own circuit boards on CNC, which is how it is done in aerospace applications. No surface mount, or prefab kits used here.

The Echopark Dual Harmonic boost unit.

This is our 2nd version of the Dual Harmonic Boost. The same legendary “Dual Stacked” OD, but modified with OD boosters on each circuit for a “Maximum” OD. The center “tone” Pot has been replaced with a “Master Volume”, allowing you to crank both OD’s for maximum distortion, at lower volumes. Because of the “Insane” Overdrive, the DHB2 has a 3 Way “Tone Control Switch” ranging from (Far Left) Low, (Center) Med, (Far Right) High. This switch can be used to filter out unwanted frequency feedback at higher volumes, or a tone cut for playing certain styles of music. Far Right Knob is OD Gain BOOST 1, Far Left Knob Controls Gain on OD BOOST 2.

We have added a second set of 'glass' clipping diodes to the unit as a second palate of textures and tones..

These Fuzz units work best as first in line or before any boosting.

The 'Level' sets the dry to affect volume of the F-1

The 'Blend' Control combines the first stage of silicon transistor 'Glass' clipping diodes (silicon transistor) into the second stage simultaneously. Creating everything from a subtle fizzle to a big fat hairy boost with harmonic flutter. Sacrificing nothing when you use the instruments volume control or adjust the pedal volume.

Influenced by Mosrite's rarely seen legindary 'Fuzzrite' produced in limited numbers threw the mid 1960's..
