Best DAW I've Ever Used For Hybrid HW/SW Setup.
First off, the delay compensation just works. Tracking, syncing out to Midi Clock, syncing out to CV analog clock all align perfectly.
Pinging midi out/audio return devices to get the exact delay per track for perfect time alignment especially on sounds with fast transients. Per track Midi Clock with delay compensation. Pinging delay on HW Insert to get perfect time alignment. Everything plays back perfectly in sync. Bouncing tracks to audio, everything still stays perfectly aligned.
Throw on a high latency plugins on the master bus, everything still stays aligned. You can export the mix out with live midi hardware BEFORE recording it in.
Native CV support, you can send and automate CV out via interfaces that are DC coupled without needing software like Expert Sleepers.
You can modulate nearly anything. Free running lfos, synced lfos, custom shapes. envelopes, envelope followers, etc.
Every other DAW fights me in my workflow in some way or another. Bitwig gets out of my way and allows more creative experimentation.
The only thing I wish it had was proper CUE mix and Monitor Mix. One button PDC bypass like Cubase has would be nice too, but you can bypass high latency plugins by deactivating them.
I've used or tested every major DAW out there over the past 20 years. The ones I loved / used most were Cubase and Reaper. Bitwig has quickly become my go to for writing/production.

Jacob Hemphill uses PRS Modern Eagle II
In this YouTube video, Jacob Hemphill confirms owning the PRS Modern Eagle II.
I had never seen anything that was this well-made in my life. The longer I played it, the more it aged. The thing was growing with me, and you're like, this thing was meant to stand the test of time. There's something about the natural order of things and tension creating beauty that computers cannot figure out.

This one works great. It's like a $100 pedal and it sounds good, you know? I mean, you can just sit here and go. It has a nice warm tone.
