Best acoustic i've ever owned
Got it really cheaply and man, this acoustic is great, the body is plastic, though, its sounds as good as wooden guitars, if not better. The fretboard does really feel like an electric and makes a metal player feel home with an acoustic. couldn't wish for more

Kickass
Never goes out of tune. A real shredding machine. I love the idea of only having one pickup and one knob, cuz i never use anything else on metal guitars. The only thing i've done with mine is switching out the pickup for a Seymour Duncan cuz i do not like emgs (passive or not).

Kickass amp for the price
the only thing i dislike about this amp is that it doesn't have a clean channel, though its not the biggest deal because i almost never use a clean channel. I have yet only tried it with one cab and with that one it sounded very bright, but what i've read about the cab (jet city 24+), they are very bright sounding

the soldano clean is nothing to write home about and the jet city clean is similar only even elss impressive. If you find yourself needing a really clean tone, get a head switcher, a blackface showman or something hiwatty if you need clean. The real deal Soldano SLO100 is bright as all heck, but in a good way. You will likely get used to it. It fills out with the master volumes opened up past noon. You will also find a quad of G12m greenbacks/creambacks (depending on how far you like to open the master up) or G12m65 speakers with the large dustcap will tame it and give it an even more 80s Marshall sound. It will probably also sound good with some 70s/80s Fane 50 watt speakers, but I am all into those lately. Stay away from vintage30s with this amp unless you intend to play really loud, same goes for G12H30 greenbacks, even the 55hz model. You may like the Emminence Legend V12s with this amp, its a Brit mutt with some Celestion qualities and some Fane qualities, handles a lot of power so a 2x12 could handle your full 100 watts without difficulty. They are also super cheap. A pair will run you about 120 bucks new including shipping. I hope that helps.

My plan was on getting a Mesa Boogie 4x12

get the rectifier oversized 4x12, all other current production mesa 4x12s sound like cardboard... and change the speakers too.

I'll see what i can get, ill get that 4x12 that i can. I i still do not think i am going to change the speakers. Also, i mostly play melodic death metal, if that changes anything

You can have it open or closed, it's a really tight fit with the closed back

I wish that 2x12s were as deep as 4x12s. Its rare to find a 2x12 deeper than 10" and pretty impossible to find one deeper than a foot. When gauging down to a 2x12 to save the 'ol back it would be nice to keep equivalent ari space behind ech speaker, right?

I agree, it's a very trebly cab. Goes very well with "dark" sounding amps, like the Jet City 20HV.
