Gear 26

Turns any tube amp with a drive channel into a brutal metal machine. Great for thrash metal through to djent. It's just really expensive.
It's a Korean Ibanez that you can get for around $100 used. The pickups and bridge suck but if you upgrade those you have yourself a really good guitar to use for gigs for maybe at most $300.
If you've tried EMGs, you've probably played these. They're the basic EMG set. That's about it.
They're pretty good build quality, they just have a meh nut, poor quality bridge, decent tuners and garbage electronics.
If you play lower than Eb standard, don't get these, They get really muddy at lower tunings. Other than that, they're pretty good.

The pickups were really good for how much I got mine for ($250) and it was built really well. Mine was the tobacco burst flame maple top one with a maple fingerboard. The neck was a tad narrow for my liking though.
It sounds like a Mark series mixed with a Rectifier and it's amazing, and it's decently affordable. Not much more to say.
These things are cheaper than a tubescreamer, and they're better. The 100hz knob makes it more useful for tightening up an ERG through something like a rectifier. Being a tubescreamer circuit, it is very versatile and quite simple. Decently easy to dial in and sounds amazing.
