For at least the last several weeks, I am unable to organize (move up/down) my stuff at all. Anything new I've added doesn't even have the little up arrow on the icon. And clicking on the icon for an item that does have it doesn't seem to do anything. Is something going on? Right now it feels like equipboard is being left to die on the vine...

I think we need to prevent new members from posting to pro pages and the forum until they meet a minimum number of gear IQ points. Just a few from building a profile and adding maybe 1 item to their own equipboard.... spammers and teenagers looking to post dildos to famous artists are ruining equipboard.

This was something we did automatically to a few thousand products on the site a while back. Users aren't able to do it yet... but it's actually one of the things we're going to enable in the coming weeks.

Just to lay out a rough roadmap, before we get to that, we're looking to redesign the Equipboard home page, and redesign a user's Equipboard page. Those are in desperate need of some love!

Ugh! 😖 I think what's happening there is we're making references to items or comments that have since been deleted (or duplicates that have been merged) and the code isn't handling that properly.

I tweaked the code, so hopefully your 500 error is fixed. pkennethk, xaqary, can you please try your notifications again?

It works! This is literally the first time I’ve ever seen any of my notifications since I joined the site. That’s awesome. Thanks man!

I saw this issue posted on a forum a while back, and it seemed to have been resolved for other members, but I can't access my notifications. I've had a few since logging on a while back and being active again, but haven't been able to view them. The page takes me to the "Oops! 404. We can't seem to find the page you're looking for" message, on both desktop and mobile. Any tips or tricks, or is this just a bug while the site is under construction?

Tried both Chrome and Safari, but no luck on either so far. I'm able to access my notifications through the emails that come when someone comments on a post, but that's about it. Still the same 404 Page Not Found message as before when redirecting me to "https://equipboard.com/notifications".

I don't think this is a browser issue. I think that as the codebase has gotten larger, notifications don't always stay in-sync as items on the website get deleted, duplicates get merged, and so forth. It's a battle we've been fighting for a while. I think I found the offending notification in your case, I believe it's an upvote you got on your review of your Gibson ES-330. Mind checking one more time?

When I try to replace a photo of, say an ESP guitar, as I found a much better shot, it appears that the photo doesn't change, even though I uploaded it. In some cases it does, in some cases it doesn't.

Sometimes, I make a comment on a submission, and I regret it the instant I make it. Like today's self-serving comment on a sighting of the gorgeous new H.E.R. signature strat:

I mean, give me a way to edit, and in 5 seconds I'd change that to "This pic really does this guitar justice!" or something that isn't... you know, about me. Why did I need to make this sighting about me somehow :🤦:

Anyway, this happens now and again. Getting a Mulligan on these comments would be great.
