Everyones top 5 bands.

Well, if you do, I suggest you start with "The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place". Just about their best album.

Does that have a tree on the cover. I think actually I may have listened to it, but as background music ehile doing homework or something.

Nope, whole bunch of words that repeat the album name. I couldn't possibly use this music as background, it's almost become a sort of bane to me. It feels sort of degrading, like I'm willing to pay attention to work rather than the music someone worked hard for, but that's just how I feel.

Kinda wish we all could do listenig parties or something to that effect, wouldn't that be fun?

Could you expand a little on that, it sound interesting, and possible.

I think I was thiking of an anathema album there.

The listening party? It was just a thought. Kind of like, if we all met in a chat room, and the web site would stream live music and we'd just listen and talk.

If one of us started a stream on youtube, and we put music in the background of it (Idk if you can, I'vre never done a stream) then there's comments on there.

Neither hav I. I can't do that now, I'm at college, and I have a friend over for the night. You think you can figure out any other methods?

Also, I'm texting on my phone, It's quite stressful, haha.

Yeah, I loved Ministry and Skinny Puppy too! Many wild night listening to their tunes! My wife is really into Neubauten and Thrill Kill Cult. So I hear plenty of that! haha! Did you ever listen to Coil? They had some really strange stuff. I think they were originally chosen to do the sound track for Hell Raiser by C. Barker. But they ended up scrapping all of Coils tunes claiming they were "too creepy" and such.

I never understood why Bauhaus & NIN were on the same bill either. It was almost like a divided crowd of sorts. Not that they people didn't enjoy both but it was like some of them missed the Goth/punk era and didn't appreciate it. OH well! :o)

I'll have a think. The internet is full of streaming sites, and at least one of them must support some type of background music. Twitch, hangouts,

And forgive me for being apprehensive, but you know meeting up with strangers online on any service/site makes me cautious. I've figured that none of you guys are creeps, but you can never be to sure. No offense guys.

Also time zones

I can say with assurance that a chat room is not going to make us any more creepy even if were or were not. Anyways, you're lucky you're on this forum. I've seen far worse, this place is a haven to me.

Guitars?

Yeah they're a brilliant band. Harcore will never die but you will is a nice album to listen as a first, accessible, yet still incredible.
