Amps 4
It's an AC30 combo with just one speaker but it sounds as heavenly as one expects from an AC30, I played AC30s with Blues, Greens and others and I feel very comfortable with this English Celestion "Neo Dog" speaker (it has a very round sound… so I guess it's closer to a Green than to a Blue as I always felt the Blues with much more percussive reaction), I sold my AC30CC2 to afford this and I'm very glad about the replacement.
I bought several AC4s (C1 and TV models) from Vox as I like their bigger brothers (AC15s and AC30s are my big amps of choice), those were always fine but never made me that happy so I kept looking for other options. I liked how the Fender Champ 600 sounded but always felt a little boxy. This one is very similar to the Champ but with a different chassis and therefore another resonance, it sounds more open, now I’m sticking with it. As any amp it takes some gain pedals better than others, I found that more advanced pedals are not that great through it (I have a Strymon Sunset and a Bogner La Grange) but it’s gorgeous with things like the Rat, Charlie Brown V4 and/or other Foxx’ based fuzzes I had.
Pedalboard 12
It tracks amazingly well, I prefer using its octave mode rather than the old dedicated octave generators I had (Micro POG, Nano POG, EQD Organizer), we cannot choose the sub/up balance but it sounds better at its point, more realistic, immediate… organic!
I bought the Pitch Fork as soon as it came out because it sounded fine, though still wished the better sound of the Whammy so then the Ricochet came out and I had to buy it to get the sound that I always wished and I'm totally pleased about it. DigiTech should have made this since they released the WH-1 as I always wished this kind of design as I found the treadle obtrusive to my usual application of the effect. A future version would be ok with the features that this lacks compared to the Pitch Fork (the blending option, the dual mode, the extra intervals –yes: detune, thirds, etc.– and the possibility to attach an expression pedal), and of course that MIDI would be appreciated too.
To me it beats any options at its price range. It is made of plastic but has a very solid and comfortable feeling. I used it to control the gain on Moog pedals but also with other brands (mostly Strymon) . It has this typical pot to shorten its range from its minimum. It comes bundled with a TRS cable but I lost it and replaced it with a short MXR TRS.
It has a nice behavior with anything you put in front of it, it adds volume output to make anything sound full (balls!) with no added grit (though it could obviously cause your amp or other gains stages to do that). I use it through my FX loop to increase my output volume.
Is a very useful tool as it excels on the regular application that one expects from (clean) boosters but also stands ahead of the rest with its PrimeTime feature (dual action switch that works as momentary or permanent depending on your foot action if you just quickly tap or if you hold it pressed), this nice bonus just sets it apart from any of its competitors by offering a peculiar approach of inspiring potential.
Everything about the delays in general is perfect, it's organic and versatile –though it has a peculiar modulation to it which may not be the most amazing one, and then the Digital machine is currently having some error(s) which we expect to be solved with a future firmware update as by now it lacks the pristine clear repeats that one should be able to achieve from it. It is sad to find a looper asking for a MIDI connection to unlock its full functionality while other options gives them out even with less switches (you know… the regular little Ditto is by far a more complete looper in terms of possibilities, even when it has just one switch!).
They fit anywhere, the plugs are so small and the cable is super strong but flexible at the same time.
I have an EHX B9 which is a tricky pedal to be connected to some power supplies, I use a Strymon Ojai to feed my pedals and this current doubler allows it to run the B9 without any problem.
Software Plugins and VSTs 38
I have written some fast guitar arrangements which I exported as MIDI to my DAW and then I processed the VSTi with this to send it to my sampler/looper pedal for live use. Though I prefer a more dynamic gain response in general this one it is ok for straight and short loops as it has very nice and consistent sounds.
Headphones 2
They come with a nice case and some fancy accesories but it fails to deliver a nice sound or to fit comfortably in my ears. The sound is edgy, harsh, metallic, it has no depth, I even miss my old basic Samsung wired in-ears. The foams are ok but the piece of plastic that holds everthing together is very big, it feels uncomfortable.

This is still a very peculiar tool to achieve peculiar expressiveness resources with our electric guitars. It requieres some initial training but then you can start mastering some basics.
Other Gear 17
Nice cameras, nice stereo sound (it sacrifices a little volume), nice design, good size and weight, good screen, I’m still thankful for having an audio output jack. It has NFC, it also misses wireless charge but it is awesome for what you are paying.
Had 111
I use this head with a Vox V112NT cabinet (I think that it sounds considerably better than the TV one). It is more than enough for home use (it could even result loud at its lower wattage setting) and happens to have a very bright sound. This upper range of tones is something that I really missed with other heads such as the Terror series from Orange (which I used with the exact same cabinet and speaker cable).
As with any Jags: the short scale feels very comfortable for rhythmic playing and string bending but can turn a little tedious on the upper frets. Once you set its pickups properly it has a decent sustain. You get the tone that you could reasonably expect from it (in terms of regular humbuckers and a dark –rosewood– fingerboard). It's visually sexy, it is nice to see a Jag with this simplicity but unfortunately it doesn't sound as amazing as it looks.
I bought this one for a bandmate to fit his Martin acoustic guitar. HipStrap always makes straps with very bold and solid leather ends so it feels very secure without even putting any special strap lock there. All their materials are indeed of very high quality and have a precious style.
This a very affordable and reliable strap. The poly material is light so I bought for a friend to use it with an acoustic guitar one while I still choose straps with heavier materials for my electric guitars (nylon or leather).
Random stuff 2
It has a mic so I can use it to replace my MacBook's broken one, you can pair it with other one to achieve a stereo experience and has indeed an awesome bass response for its size, plus an aux input and a very useful hanging strap. These peculiar features placed it above from its price competitors.
