Identifying the gear

You're right, it does look a lot like this https://guitargear.org/2011/03/05/gear-review-g5122dc-electromatic%C2%AE-double-cutaway-hollow-body/

I don't think gretsch made a cheap guitar that looked like a Tennessean/Tennessee-rose until these blocked ones came out recently... there were cheap double-cut hollowbodies but not with proper filtertron pickups

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

As you can clearly see in this photo, the commode-o-phone is in this photo.

???

that's just a seatophone... a vintage American standard commodophone is way bigger and has more pipes that go over your shoulder

I've never seen an instrument like that before. I wonder what it sounds like

Probably sounds like shit

Probably sounds like shit

Something tells me you guys either didn't get te joke or are so angry at my terrible joke that you've decided to shun.

Well jokes on you! I had a good giggle, and I refuse to take back this joke.

I was wondering of this is some specific model or something. Be nicer to new members!

you're not new and I really thought you were joking, I always forget you're a folky

but if you want me to be mean to you I can be because I am in a pretty edgey mood today and I really wanna lash out verbally... got some very disturbing news last night.

You can infer the "watch it" in that statement. I am loud, snide and opinionated but also more legitimately helpful to newbs and youngsters than pretty much all the other mods combined. It just might not be visible unless you follow everything I do on this site.

Which model of Gibson do you lot think this is?

While we're all here, I have a similar query;

I'm trying to add to King Charles' gear list, and I'm having trouble pinning down the exact model Telecaster he's using

There's a few points within the video that you can see it but the clearest is probably at about 1:12: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiJADqrxsCo

I'm 99% certain it's a single coil bridge, definitely a humbucker in the neck, but I can't find any models that have this configuration and seem to come in this colour? I wonder if it's perhaps a custom job? If anyone has any ideas I'd much appreciate it

If anyone has any idea of the pedals at 1:17 also, I'd appreciate it; I have the Boss TU and the EHX Holy Grail down, you see them earlier in the video, but there's too much Marcus Mumford in the way of the others, perhaps someone who owns any of these pedals can tell what they are!

T-Rex Fuel Tank, Zvex Box of Rock, and an Empress Tape Delay. Guitar's probably just a limited run Tele. Most of these blonded teles with humbuckers seem to mostly either be vintage instruments or one of those remakes made by Fender's custom shop, but those are heavy relic'd for 1952. Just use this to submit and add more details in the submission notes (unless someone else comes along and knows the specific model name).

Thanks very much for your help!
