Identifying the gear

its just a G5422G, in gretsch model numbering the 12 string versions always have the same model number with a hyphen and 12 after...

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

glad I didn't answer this, I would have said G5422G-6 because logic.

Not just Jack White, but yes, that was mainly he. Dan Auerbach also used fair share of Silvertones and Krafts and all that, right?

yeah, I believe so, but he's just a Jack White imitator on a large scale

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

disagree. his music is WAY different.

First thing I tried was simply taking off the 12, but google image searches still only show the 12 string in all attempts. This is standard gib practice but gretsch didn't seem to follow this.

Got any images to match it? I am frustrated I could not find that exact matching that BOOM requested by trying exactly this.

Not being facetious, I just did not find this.

GEAR:
  • Fender MIJ Jazzmaster JM62
  • Epiphone Dot
  • Electro-Harmonix Sovtek "Green Russian" Big Muff Pi V7C

Thanks Boom, but I actually meant for Jim to post an image. Even that one you've posted doesn't show the headstock the guitar which makes me think that it could still be the 12 string.

I can't find one either, maybe its a 12 string only.... the last image boom posted looks like any number of models if its a 6 string as boom surmises

is he so sure its an electromatic? I mean, I am seeing a double anniversary there in Cadillac green (the guitar in question is the color my duo jet was, so sexy with gold hardware)

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard

This looks to me like a rare 1957 Gretsch Country Club. A guy here has a photo of the guitar which is nearly identic to this one. http://www.garysguitars.com/catalog/1957-gretsch-country-club-cadillac-green-gre0317

There is also another Country Club which looks like this one, but this one is from 1955. http://www.classicrockguitars.nl/1955-gretsch-6193g-country-club.html

EDIT: Were you looking for this guitar or?

Can anybody tell which kind of Gibson Firebird this is?

GEAR:
  • Gibson J-45
  • Blank slot
  • Blank slot

just a plain old Firebird III, the most common neck-thru version

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Thank you, Jim!

I think you nailed it. Maybe its a reissue or something. Thanks Walrus. I was looking for this for Phil Wickham's board.

This looks to me like a rare 1957 Gretsch Country Club.

its a country club, the old ones aren't even THAT valuable.... they were available in caddy green back then. I believe there was an anniversary reissue one year not too long ago, but I dunno if it was available in caddy green. It could very well be a vintage one. I've seen them as cheap as $2k

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard
  • Vox AC30 Guitar Combo Amp

Well, the anniversary model is definitely not the one, if you're referring to the G6196-T, they look way different. I think that this is the vintage one.

But Firebird III has dotted inlays, isn't this the Firebird V?

ah shit, I got my V and VII mixed up this morning... I was out late for me, whadaya want, ya fuckers? I went to see Hedwig live at the Forest. Sorry. I won't post all bleary eyed to this thread again.

GEAR:
  • Roland Juno-6
  • Gibson SG Standard

VI models forward and V models back, You gotta.... you gotta Fiyah Bird!

Ahhh, I should have also checked the inlays. Damn. Damn.
