NAMM 2015 – What new gear are you most excited about?

These are the standout products for me, so far:

Sequential Prophet 6

The story of how Dave Smith got the Sequential name back from Yamaha is pretty amazing.

Arturia BeatStep Pro

Now I have to find someone to buy my original BeatStep. :(

Waldorf NW1 Wavetable Module

I was really surprised and excited to see Waldorf enter Eurorack.

I'm afraid for my bank account.

That new prophet sounds amazing.

From what I've been reading I'm really excited about the BOSS ES-8 although I can't talk myself into buying it anytime soon. It sounds like the answer to 1,000,000 pedalboard woes.

The shop I work at is, among other things, a Yamaha dealer. Naturally, I'm pretty pumped to play a higher-end Pacifica model. I know a lot of people who read this might laugh but the Pacifica is pretty popular overseas and I'm eager to find out for myself. If the PAC611HFM is as good as some say, my customers will have a more affordable alternative to pricey electrics.

I'm really looking forward to what is to come.

Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2 - coming April 30, 2015. The thing looks sick!

GEAR:
  • Fender Telecaster Custom Electric Guitar
  • Big Ear Pedals Woodcutter
  • HeadRush FRFR Go Portable Desktop Amplifier

Some of the new limited edition fenders are really nice, lovin the jazzmasters and jaguars

Haven't seen new Jags and Jazzmasters. USA or Mexican made? Post a pic or video.

I could get behind the Novation Launchpad Pro. Maybe Push is still better though, dunno...
