OFF TOPIC

Yep, I've seen this market as well. I facilitated a mix of some unrealized Breeders tracks cuz I just happened to be the only person with a 1" 8 track, the format it was recorded in & was lucky enough to have a mentor like John Koker (R.I.P) early. The Breeders stuffs was well handled and a totally moral pursuit but as a result never saw proper release unfortunately. Fucking tragic, but there are scoundrels at every corner and laws that stop them but also stop legitimate efforts. It's a shame they never saw the light of day. They just sit in my tape stacks & hard drives. Nobody will ever hear them...

Bet your ass, I honestly couldn't be more serious. I've been sneaking into countries on tour to avoid taxes (fucking festivals!) for ages. I'm 100% ready. Place your order.

That's very sad to hear! Having the Breeders and still no Deal…

and here I've been paying my taxes in a relatively honest and forthright way for my entire life (I mean, I did a lot of freelancing and its hard to want to declare every personal check that's made out to you and not your LLC).... I've enver actually played/mixed in another country where I wasn't just a small cog in a larger machine, so it was never an option for me to, say, break into Canada across that undefended, icy border.... did you ever have any run-ins with the mounties while sneaking around?

Haha, yeah Canada. Living in Portland you'd think I'd have played up there a lot-but, I got a DUI when I was 19. So no Canada for me. If you got a DUI, forget about crossing the border into Canada. I have had some friends who've had no problem if they fly & if their destination is further into Canada.

Honestly tho? I really haven't cared enough to try- Europe just pays so damn well, no limits on food or drink, guarantees always include good/great accommodation, usually better weather, and maybe most of all, that's where Spain & Portugal are!

Oh yeah, & for those who don't know- I'm 42. Soooo I can't get into Canada cuz I got a DUI 22, 23 years ago. The fuck, right?

I got hit in my very early 20s, they had just lowered the limit in PA and I was just under the old limit.... I strove really hard to beat the rap and did for the very reason that I had already been to Canada both as a spontaneous roadtrip in art school and more importantly on tour and I was afraid of being denied future admission while I was riding in a tour bus

it actually wound up serving me really well to have a squeaky clean record when I was in my child custody battle a few years ago too

whats funny is that in negotiating my way out of the DUI hit I wound up getting out of the speeding ticket that came with it and speeding was the reason I got pulled over.... I was dead guilty of going WAY over the limit but I was really not impaired though I ahd been drinking a little with a buddy hours beforehand, just a reckless 22 or 23 year old kid with a lead foot and his first manual transmission!

I'm watching, "Weekend At Bernie's" and noticing that the audio is SOOOOOOOOO off from the video. There are times when you hear people talking and their mouth is closed. A woman comes down from the second floor, after having sex with a dead guy, and is singing "ahh ta taa choo choo choo. Ta da da da, yeah." all while her mouth is shut. This is happening a lot in this film.

I will praise this movie for having one of the best racks ever caught on film.

I ran out of things to watch so, I'm streaming Fast/Furious 8. What a mistake on my part. This movie is terrible. It's as if the film was intended for children to watch. Not for all the crack and Dairy Queen coupons in the world, sirs.

Diplomatic Immunity

How far does it go?

If Country A has a law against striking people. Country B does not. Country B sends a dignitary to country A. Dignitary B attacks someone from Country A.

What happens to the victim? What happens to the dignitary?

I've never been able to say that I have had the best BBQ. I've been to a ton of places and they all seemed to be roughly the same. They might have had done a certain item better than another place, but then that other place did a different item better. I think I have my place now, and I am mostly basing this on one item.

I went to Bone Daddy's and got their Burnt Ends as a selection on my three meat plate. They were amazing. AMAZING! They tasted slightly of charred marshmallow from an open fire and had that same crispness as well. The inside was tender smoked brisket. It was like eating meth. If you have one of these near you, I recommend going and getting some of these.

I just got back from the touring co version of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the Forest.... shit I almost choked laughing. Great band too.

I love the movie, but I don't know if I would enjoy a live showing.
