OFF TOPIC

must be rough, you can't walk a meter (you guys use meters, right?) into a music shop without stumbling on a good used strat in the USA.. But we invented the electric guitar and all of the music that utilizes it, so its only fair. I have literally had that problem buying stuff on a whim where strats kept sticking to me for awhile. My good friend has that problem right now, he's always building strats but he runs into off-the-shelf fenders and he winds up with a lot of them (I think he actually has 2 SRV signatures now and plays neither of them, he just wound up with them). My JV was acquired for a song and a dance used when I wasn't even shopping. I was up in New England visiting friends and this one dude was like "wanna see our badass guitar store?" I just went to see the place and left with a strat... I think that happened with this one surf green strat too, went for strings, left with a strat...

okay, okay, that's happened to me with more than just strats. I got my esquire when Igot a deal on the gretsch I was lusting and had $300 in budget leftover so I bought a beat up fender too. Or my SG, I had stopped shopping for gibsons, but I was selling some studio gear and there it was.... broke even.

I can't imagine not being able to find guitars worth owning EVERYWHERE

its actually a bit depressing since you just can't buy them all... because I would.

Who else doesn't use the metric system in the world? :P Anyway, yes, I have nearest guitar shop about 25 kilometers from me, and they don't have any good guitars. Only Stagg copies, which I hate. I wish there could be yard sales. I heard people are getting guitars for a ridicously small price.

I so wish someone would look at some of my submissions and rate them :) Every time I look at Alex Webster for example, I see a load of yellow tags and it bugs me so much.

So, I made this yesterday. We're going to turn it into a weekly/bi-monthly show. I'm most proud of the intro. It was just fun to make.

Well... due to my school suddenly needing an IRS transcript, which they have not ever asked for before, I am unable to go to school this semester. So disappointed. Being a 30 year old student, I already feel a sense of urgency to gather all the credits I need to as early as possible and getting started in a career field. Six months is an eternity to wait in my situation. I'm thinking about using this here thing called the internet to study the classes I had planned on taking and seeing if I can take a test and clep out of these courses. It would be cheaper for me to pay for the clep test than the course anyway.

gotta lov the clep tests.... they aren't even that hard, then again most general course work isn't terribly chanllenging, just time consuming....

if you are addressing subjects you are totally unfamiliar with check this out:

great test prep online courses and you can actually rewind the motherfuckers if something flies over your head... good luck getting a lot of professors to shut up and repeat themselves

OH, I love Khan! Used to use that a lot back in highschool. I think they also had a few courses regarding code and such, pretty interesting stuff. Really fed some old hobbies of mine.

Probably should stop by and see the new site.
